Community & Partnerships

Supporting veterans and Indigenous communities through meaningful employment, training partnerships, and business collaboration.

Veteran Support

We respect the extremely valuable experience Australia's veterans bring to the Australian community once they've rotated back into civilian life. We want to capitalise on our veterans' experience and give them the space to lead from the front. We encourage our veterans to take leadership and trade roles across our business.

Andrew Grech, our Commercial Director, is a former Royal Australian Air Force pilot. He brings discipline and structure to project delivery. He leads with purpose, ensuring structure, integrity, and reliability are built into every project.

Indigenous Apprenticeships

We support Indigenous community members seeking employment and training.

Keinan Graham is a First Nations apprentice currently completing his qualification with Odina. Keinan joined our team in 2023 as a plumbing apprentice. Now in his fourth year, he has delivered multiple projects across the Defence estate.

We encourage our First Nations community to join the Odina team, and strive to provide structured trades pathways, consistent training, and practical site experience.

Indigenous Partnerships

To maximise value for local communities and businesses, Odina actively engages Indigenous-owned subcontractors.

We have partnered with Nolan Civil Pty Ltd, an indigenous-owned business to deliver non-destructive digging, trenching, and service excavation across multiple Defence sites.
